The CM28 Pro is an absolute must-have for any videographers or photographers out there that want to add a serious upgrade to their equipment.Unboxing it, I immediately noticed that it feels premium, which I personally appreciated Neewer doing. In the box you'll get a heavy duty charging case that has 2 microphones (transmitters) and 1 receiver. You also get a carrying pouch that has a bunch of different cables inside for charging, as well as different camera setups be that for a phone (3.5mm to USB-C), USB-C to USB-C, and 3.5mm to 3.5mm - really like that these combinations were included, which makes it very flexible depending on what you will be recording to.I have only tried 2 recording types so far - 1 via the transmitter and 1 to my computer. I have also tried out using the CM28 as a microphone during meetings, and can confirm it works well for both live calls/meetings and recordings via your computer as long as you adjust the audio settings (i.e. increase them to the maximum bit-rate available).Recording with the transmitters is incredibly easy and requires you to hold the set button for a couple of settings. The set button can also be used to enable noise cancelling mode which is very impressive, especially when you use it with one of the included wind breaks. Recordings are 16 bit audio, with a sampling rate of 48 khz. They're incredibly clear and overall I'm very satisfied with what I've recorded so far. They definitely perform better when you have the microphone facing your mouth, but clipped to your shirt with either the physical clip or one of the magnetic dots that are also included (which are really strong), still sounds good albeit somewhat muffled because of the lower angle.Overall, I would highly recommend the CM28 to absolutely anyone! It's an amazing package and includes absolutely everything you need. The heavy duty charging case is very versatile and the transmitters and receiver work instantly as soon as you take them out of the case. The microphones also have 4gb of internal memory for each device, which also makes it incredibly convenient for longer form recording.

I received a wireless microphone system with a charging case. The set comes with two wireless microphones that are small and can clip on your clothes or there is a magnetic button that can be used to hold it on. The microphones are stored in a case that will recharge them as long as you keep the case recharged so perfect for on the go usage. I am not a tech type persons so I can not answer all the tech stuff on this set . That being said we needed it to do some promotional videos for a local group and we found it easy to set up and use. The noise reduction is definitely helpful when filming outside. The set comes with everything you need except a detailed manual , there is a QR code but even that does not give as much detail as I would like as a new user to these type of devices.Overall I recommend them even for beginners like me

I see in this product a great deal of functionalities, excellent sound, material, and build quality offered at a competitive price. Adapter cables, data, and charging cables, a carrying pouch, a charging box, were included alongside this receiver and transmitters set.Aspects I appreciate very much:- excellent sound recording quality with either mono or stereo sound channels. No setting is needed, just enable the appropriate number of mics as needed.- the receiver comes with a headphone output for sound monitoring, a simple yet very legible LED screen for status, a 3.5 mm output jacket for connecting with your recording device (be it a phone, tablet, camera, or a computer), two buttons for power and settings.- quick boot up and automatic pairing once pulled out of the case—a convenient design which saves me a great deal of time- long battery life, more than needed during a typical work day- built-in storage of 4GB with additional, standalone recorder functions in the two transmitters- cycling through different frequencies and active noise cancellation levels by pressing the “set” button- excellent sound, build, material quality, and loads of functions for the price- in addition to the mic sets and the charging box, the set also comes with multiple data cables for different types of devices, a charging cable, two fluffy windscreens, and a carrying pouchAspects you would consider before making a decision:- the date and time in the two transmitters cannot be adjusted, making it difficult to organize recorded clips. The recorded files indicate they were created in 1965, which is inaccurate.- this set is not meant for chats, conference calls, or meetings with apps such as FaceTime, Zoom, or Teams on mobile and tablet devices. It cannot be used for voice or video chats, conference calls, or meetings without additional accessories and device-level configurations. The receiver only supports voice output and monitoring functions, and other parties’ voices cannot be heard through your headphones connected to it. If you connect a Bluetooth headset to your device, sound input and output will bypass the receiver and be directed through your Bluetooth device.- the charging box cannot accommodate the two transmitters with their fluffy windscreens. Therefore, the windscreen of the latter transmitter must be removed before the lid is closed.

The transmitters and receivers are smaller than its competitors, while maintaining the same wireless range and boasting larger batteries (180mAh for the receivers and 270mAh for transmitter).We've made use of this to help our son record a few videos for school assignments, and the results were significantly better than less expensive lavalier microphones we've used in the past. Set up is also very easy, being essential plug-and-play.The noise cancellation offered is very respectable for this price point. Combined with the included wind shield (which you can install by placing it over the circular microphone and screwing it in with a 1/4 turn), your voice appears clear and crisp even on the windiest day.The receivers come with a circular magnet on the back and their clips are magnetic as well. The magnets are not strong enough to mount securely to a MagSafe surface. The kit also came with a drawstring bag to carry the carrying case and various accessories. I wished the carrying case had some extra storage space for these accessories or barring that, at least the wind shields.As the successor to the 2023 model the CM28, It's not apparently clear what this Pro version has improved. The Pro version comes with a coiled 3.5mm audio to USB-C cable and a coiled 3.5mm audio to Lightning cable vs. the non-Pro's OTG USB-C to USB-C and Lightning to USB-C 90-degree adapters.The kit does not come with a manual, although it comes with a small pamphlet with a QR code to access the online manual.
