    These adapters are very handy. You can add them wherever you have 1/4" threaded hole. Everything is well machined from metal. The contact surface is lined with rubber. All hardware to mount them is included.This is a high quality product. Recommended!

    I like that these adapters are full metal with a protective rubber lining at the bottom; With the included 1/4-inch hex bolts, I was able add at least three of these to a single tripod. I was able to side mount a diffused LED lightbox on the side of my tripod securely.To get these fit on something like a 3/8" mounting hole, a conversion adapter would be necessary; I haven't seen these M2.5 before nor encountered any gear that uses these tiny hex bolts. 1/4-inch mounting points are a lot more common and it was very straightforward to install the adapter.It's nice that there are a pair of Allen keys included for each bolt size; After removing the adapter, I didn't see any scratches nor paint flaking off from the black anodizing. I appreciate the white arrows on the inside as it made it easier to identify which end to insert any compatible accessory.

    When you do video and photography, you need to attach accessories on your rig or other like a microphone, light, video monitor, etc. That is why I am very glad to have to 4 packs of cold shoe adapters that will give me options to do that.     Love that it comes in a 4 pack with all the hardware. There are tons of uses for these cold shoes - eg. I just drilled some holes into my webcam mount and installed one behind the camera, now I have a quick release light source for video calls. Great stuff.
