If you are looking for a lighting upgrade that actually feels premium, this neewer floor LED lamp is a fantastic find. I’ve had other LED lamps in the past that felt a bit flimsy, but this one is in a completely different league. The build quality is top-notch and it feels really high-end and well-made. Right from the start, the setup was a total breeze. I didn’t even really need to look at the instructions to get it up and running, and it only took a few minutes to have it fully assembled and lighting up the room. The light output itself is one of the best parts of the unit. It is incredibly strong and powerful, and it does a great job of creating a really nice ambience in whatever room you put it in. However, while the hardware is great, the remote control situation is a bit of a mixed bag. I found that the remote isn't super intuitive, and honestly, changing the power or the color of the light is kind of a pain in the butt. You have to keep pressing the button over and over again to cycle through the settings, which feels like it takes forever. It would be a lot easier if you could just hold the button down and have the brightness or color shift on a sliding scale, but unfortunately, that’s not an option here. It’s a strange design choice that definitely slows things down when you’re trying to dial in the perfect look. When it comes to the colors, the customization is also a bit limited. It seems like you can manually cycle through gradients between daylight and amber, but if you want a specific color like blue, you just have to press a static color button. There’s no real way to blend or transition between those vibrant colors, which isn't great if you were hoping for a more fluid color-changing experience. Still, the static colors it does provide look good and the overall light quality is impressive enough that it’s not a dealbreaker. One really interesting feature to note is the audio mode. It’s a cool addition that adds another layer to the atmosphere, especially if you’re using it for a media room or a party setting. Overall, despite the clunky remote and the lack of color gradients, this is a very high-quality, sturdy lamp that provides excellent illumination. It’s a solid, professional-looking piece of gear that definitely outshines the cheaper alternatives on the market.
