I'm not a pro but I have a little bit of knowledge.So this is a fancy video lens for smartphones and maybe some tablets, therefore this isn't going to give you results a $1500 camera with an equivalent lens will, but this is great for pro res video on iPhone and "pro" type androids with great cameras to allow you to get some interesting shots with just your phone.It mentions in the manual to use certain video apps that support the anamorphic lens as that does a form of correction in the recording and actually gives some pretty nice cinematic shots. This is primarily a video lens.It mostly fits on my Fold5 with it being so thick plus my case but it's not perfect or ideal. On normal slab phones like 16pro or 26ultra it will likely provide a more stable mount.I used the black magic app set to anamorphic lens type and it looked pretty nice.It's small and light considering it's a full lens and mount but compared to just a phone it's bulky and heavy, but usable.

I've been experimenting with mobile filmmaking and photography, and this lens completely changes the game with its wider field of view and the beautiful blue lens flares that feel like something straight out of a movie.The 2.4:1 aspect ratio gives that actual letterbox effect without needing to crop in the post, which saves both time and resolution. Whether shooting scenic landscapes, urban vlogs, or experimenting with creative B-rolls, this lens helps you easily capture that epic, widescreen look. You do have to play around with the lens a bit to get a feel for it. You also need to experiment with various positions so you can set the lens to the best position for your shot.The build quality is excellent. The lens is made of multicoated glass for sharp images, and the aluminum body feels durable and well-machined. It attaches securely with the 17mm threaded clip and is compatible with most smartphones (I've used it on both iPhone and Android with no trouble). The locking knob adds extra stability, which is great when you're filming on the move. This is particularly important since the lens is kinda heavy and you don't want it to move out of place or even possibly drop.I also love that it comes with a 58mm filter adapter ring, allowing me to add ND or CPL filters for more control in different lighting. It expands what's possible on mobile. If you're using heavier accessories or filming longer takes, pairing it with a stabilizer or cage is a good idea, as mentioned in the product notes.Overall, this is a good lens for anyone into mobile content creation. It definitely opens up new creative possibilities!

First, it turns out that I am not a good photographer or producer. I had trouble testing this lens well. So I called a friend who knows more, and we played with it a while.It is a well made lens. It comes with the lens, a bracket to mount it to an iPhone, or an Android phone. Also includes lens cover, a carry case and more.The basic advantage with this lens is that it about doubles the field of view. Pictures almost look panoramic. I love it.It takes a bit of practice to get used to this lens [unless, of course, you are already a pro at it.] But then it is fun to use and the pictures are fantastic. Even though I am not a pro - I really appreciate the added field and depth to the final pics.I had some fun turning the lens sideways, or angled. Then the horizontal compression became vertical compression for some very interesting outcomes.I did see some [a little] distortion that I did not like. But with my limited knowledge I cannot tell if that was from the lens or my fault.A very interesting, fascinating lens.
