This diffusion works great to soften light. It packs flat and you get several sizes. Easy to set up. Recommended.

Sound Hound

These are good for when you need to get some product shots and do not want to set up a complicated setup with softboxes, diffusers, reflectors, backdrops, etc. They work well to take shots of smaller items either from the top or the side* (need to leave at least the two bottom side clips open, lens diameter dependent). For quick and easy product shots these work in a pinch. I typically use smaller LED/COB lights with these on at least two sides to obtain even light distribution. Yet another winner accessory in the Neewer product arsenal.

Disclaimer: I'm not a professional photographer so my standards may be a bit lower to those who are.I got these hoping they would help me take better product photos for my online store and THEY DID. I usually take terrible photos cause lighting is such an issue where I live. I don't have good indoor lighting and natural sunlight casts way too many shadows. I used these outdoors in prime lighting and I was so impressed with how well these cones diffused light. The only thing is I wish these were slightly larger. Even the largest size I could see some of the edges in my shot but I was totally fine with that as I could edit it out.

I've been interested in light cones for a while, but the high price tag of the original design deterred me. As a professional photographer specializing in macro flower photography, I've found these NEEWER light cones to be incredibly useful and at a bargain price.They effectively soften harsh sunlight, allowing for beautiful, evenly lit photos, even in the midday sun. I would go so far as to say that they are an invaluable tool for any macro/flower photographer.Tips:Jewelry Photography: For reflective surfaces like silver jewelry, wrap a piece of white printer paper around the inside of the diffuser to create smooth, white reflections.Macro Flower Photography: Attach the large diffuser to a tripod and position it independently from the camera. Experiment with different angles and configurations to achieve desired lighting effects.

If you do product photography, this lighting modifer set is a game changer. It encompasses the product so you only have soft light illuminating your subject from all sides. It's essentially a much easier to use version of a lightbox.You get three versions, a small, medium, and large. It's consturction is essentially a sheet of diffusion plastic with snap closures. The Neewer logo is a sticker on it. It's simple, yet effective.This is the generic version of the V-Flat/Karl Kaylor version. The sizing is slightly different, but the quality/use is exactly the same. They could be used interchangable and don't affect the quality of light.The button closure works well to keep the round shape. It does make folding a tad challenging as the buttons will prevent easy manipulation of the shape when collapsing. It just takes a bit of practice to be able to roll it back up for storage. All three modifiers stack together in a cardboard tube for storage.

The diffusion material is a pliable but strong plastic that feels at first it might rip when you are putting the buttons together, but as you get more comfortable with it you realize it's pretty decently strong. The diffusion looks good on it and it does minimize reflections and hotspots, while making your diffusion bounce bigger.They provide you a storage cylinder for it, which is convenient, though rolling up the cone the first few times can be as annoying as closing down a reflector for your first time.It can even be used outside in direct sunglight for those who don't have studio strobes or speedlights.
