I wasn't sure what I was getting for the cost of this light stand but when it arrived I was immediately pleased with the quality. I didn't really note the diameter of the tubing before purchasing but I set it up in my living room to try it out and it works great. I'm not sure if I want to install the wheels since they will make it harder to store collapsed but so far I'm loving it.

This light stand is indeed heavy duty -- it's heavy, it can handle a lot of weight, and most importantly it's stable. I use it to hook up my studio's camera, boom mic, key, and fill lights, and it's very reliable. Just be careful not to hit the casters, it hurts a lot lol!I recommend this product. It's worth the price.

Simply an incredible light stand! I have continuous on LED light panels that really need above average support for my 2' x 4' and 1' x 4' LED panels, and this telescoping light stand certainly delivers. I rigged a bracket to support the light panels in the junior receiver or the 5/8" baby stud and this stand is so heavy duty, I have no fear of it falling over from the unbalance weight upon it. Heavy steel construction, not lightweight aluminum like most models claiming to be heavy duty. The wheels makes it so much easier to change positions of the panels in the studio, versus picking up and placing panels as I need them. Definitely worth the investment!

I as looking for a heavy duty stand that could hold overhead speedrail that would go with my existing heavy duty stand. This doesn not disappoint and holds up to 75 lbs. My orbital spinning camera and gimbal with camera weighs in just under that at about 70 pounds with counter weights. I like the all metal construction and the bottom wheels can be removed to increase stability if necessary. Good buy!

This NEEWER stainless steel light C-Stand is excellent. It is very well-made and durable. The wheels on the stand change everything. It is very easy to maneuver and move around my studio. It works as intended. Excellent value for the money.

Neewer really delivers on the heavy duty for this stand and it could be my new favorite for studio use. All metal construction, even the knobs, no cutting corners here. I've been able to put any light or strobe I own on this with any modifier and then drive it around the studio with zero concerns. The casters are solid, roll perfectly, and lock securely without issues.This is almost as useful as a C-stand, lacking only the boom arm. The stand pushes up to almost 8 feet and I have no reservations using it at full height. In the limited time I've had this, I can't find a single thing wrong with it. Great product that is HIGHLY recommended for studio use.

This is a heavy, studio grade stand that have high build quality and constructed with quality materials. The casters allows the stand to be rolled into position easily and the stand is very stable. You can mount heavy lighting equipment, large softboxes, or booms without fear of tip over. Lighting components can be mounted using either the built in standard 5/8" stud (which can be retracted out of the way) or by clamping lights into the 1-1/8" receiver. I think these stands are comparable to industry standard like the Matthews' light stands.
