It is incredibly strong and reliable, providing excellent stability and bright, adjustable lighting. The settings are great, allowing me to easily adjust the brightness to suit my needs. One of the main advantages is how compact this lamp is — it takes up much less space compared to other similar models, making it ideal for smaller workspaces. I use this for shooting social media videos, and it works perfectly!

This is probably my favourite of my various light rigs for doing video calls. The lights are fully adjustable, both in terms of colour and brightness, and since they're on flexible mounts, you can bend and contort them any which way to get the type of lighting you want. There are tons of various settings that can be adjusted using the remove or the wheel/buttons on the unit itself, and it's really easy to get your lighting just right. The tripod is strong and has a lot of versatility since it's adjustable, and this set also comes with a really flexible phone holder that clamps onto the top of the main unit. Setup is fast, and everything fits nicely in a strongly made zippered case.If you need something that offers more flexibility than the standard ring lights, this is a great option.

I was intrigued by the kit, but I have to say I'm surprised by its specific "esthetician" branding. These lights are far more versatile than that. They not only serve well for beauty work but also serve as a good option for product reviews, photography, or even as fill lights for content creators.From a lighting performance perspective, they are very good. The essential functions and features are all there with adjustable brightness and color temperature, which gives you a precise control. The full spectrum of RGB colors makes it easy to add some creative flair without needing to set up multiple different lights.However, it’s worth noting that despite being packed with features, the kit’s build quality doesn’t entirely scream professional grade. In fairness, it's not how NEEWER is advertising it either. The light panels themselves are decently sturdy, but the stand is a little less robust.Now, these can be controlled wirelessly via the NEEWER app. This is an essential feature for any photographer and videographer these days, particularly useful when shooting solo. Being able to tweak the brightness or color settings remotely while adjusting a scene is a time-saver.For an "esthetician" light kit, NEEWER seems to have created something that appeals far beyond beauty professionals. This kit is a solid addition for anyone needing versatile, portable, and customizable lighting.

The compact size for storing, and extended height when in use, make this perfect for the professional photographer, beautician, automotive detailer, or anybody else who needs to capture a variety of colour depths and tones through lighting.As soon atrd, the whole kits packs up to be incredibly compact and lightweight for travel. And while storing, takes up a very small footprint. And likewise when using to take pictures or to ensure a consistent light source, takes up little area and doesn't intrude into your workspace very much at allThe controls are very easy on the included, control panel. Or install the easy to navigate app, for a more in depth and remote control method.The lighting is very bright and allows for an abundance of tones and colour depth that provide natural tones and the variation you want for your subjects. With excellent height, easy to adjust legs and handles, anf secure support for your gear as needed. Fairly sturdy and a very reasonable price point

This light kit allows adjustability to optimize lighting; the phone holder offers decent flexibility but resists vibrating, and the stand is of good quality for the pricing.The light controller isn’t particularly intuitive, and the touch sensors are easy to inadvertently adjust (I find myself accidentally tapping colours), however this allows many settings – lights are individually controlled and there are many effect modes to choose from. Light temperature / colour / brightness are all easily adjustable. The light is powered with a laptop-style 60W power supply.The phone holder is on a flexible tube that resists flex; the holder can be left off to expose a cold shoe mount if you’d like to secure a proper camera.The base of the stand can be extended wide to provide good flexibility.I’m using the device for (almost) shadowless photos of some other items I’m reviewing and my infant & toddler, though I realize this isn’t the intended use of it.There is an app available for the light but I don’t think it is necessary. The included photo shutter controller is the standard Neewer controller which works well. Also included is a storage bag/case.This would make an excellent setup for any type of close-range content creation, especially if where light colour/temperature is critical.
