It is magnetic and sticks to the back of your iPhone or any magnetic surface. It telescopes, extending to reach over your cell phone. It has a built-in mirror, which comes in handy when getting ready to film. It feels very sturdy. The light is definitely bright enough to improve your picture quality. At the time I ordered it, it was priced at $24.99, which is a fair price for this light. If you can find a coupon or catch it on sale, I say get it!I would definitely recommend this light if you're looking for something small, portable, yet powerful!
This NEEWER Basics Magnet Selfie Video Light is great. It's got heft but it's lightweight enough to feel safe traveling with. The size is about like a makeup compact, and will slide in a purse easily. This light feels very sturdy, and I have no concerns about the hinge.This light has a lot of special features. It has various lighting options including a flashing and blinking setting. The biggest surprise feature for me is the turn dial for the brightness settings, I absolutely love that I get to choose exactly how bright I want something. If you’re always wishing the brightness was between two settings, with this you get exactly what you prefer!This light attaches to the back of the phone in the MagSafe area on an iPhone, it includes an extra magnetic ring to give it a boost for thicker cases. The included magnet is polarized, so you want to rotate the magnet to your preferred direction for the light to mount.The mirror on the mag safe area is actually handy. I was surprised. I love to use the main camera (non-selfie side) but I hate not being able to see and monitor what I am capturing (without an additional device). This solves that problem. You’ll know if you’re in the shot and what’s in the background!Overall, I'm very happy with this order and this light.

Works fantastically to light your face and increase video quality.HOWEVER, a big drawback is that if you wear glasses, you will see the reflection of the light in front of your eyes, on each lens. People with glasses will need a lighting option where the light is farther away from the phone, so the light doesn't reflect in front of your eyeballs on the video stream.
