The longer arms and multiple options on this make it a go to for difficult situations. Even the main clamp's attachment feet are separated for uneven surfaces. In the picture I've attached my DSLR (heavy) to a shelf, and it holds it just fine. Easy to use, fold up and store for travel. Will not fit in every camera bag, but mostly a backpack item. Great addition to my other clamps and mounts.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:Neewer Articulating Magic ArmPhone clamp with cold shoeInstructionsPRODUCT/THOUGHTS:This is a really interesting articulating arm but it actually works QUITE well.You can use this mainly for things like smartphones, but also small mirrorless cameras.Unfortunately, I can’t find the max load size for this and it’s not mentioned in the instruction manual either, but I would imagine it’s only the smaller mirrorless if you try to use this with a DSLR.The phone clamp also has an extra ¼ inch thread on it so you can attach other accessories such as small lights. You get multiple adjustment points with full 360 pins and 180 directional back-and-forth turns. It works well and once you get the hang of it, it’s easy to adjust your recording device on the fly.The construction is very sturdy, full metal except for the thumb screw tighteners and the phone clamp. Comes off as quality.I like the “Super clamp” with the extra double feet on one side. It makes a big difference with stability. This is an excellent arm for anyone who does filming with a phone or any other small camera such as an action camera..etc Can highly recommend.
