This is one of these small accessories that deliver great value. Most of the time I shoot video with my Kobra monopod and leveling that one is tricky. Once I have added this one, makes my workflow more efficient.Made of metal and it comes with the adapters for ¼” or 3/8”.Easy to use and is not too heavy.Recommended!

So I have a tripod where the level bubble has stopped working due to evaporation.I really like my tripod so when I seen this I was excited.It came and immediately upon taking it out of the box I realized its SOLID.. Heavier than my camera (Canon SR)The unit comes with several adapter threads which is really nice as I had to use one for the standard 1/4 unc.The level is nice and can be easily seen.You have several adjustments for balance which is really nice.This is a nice piece and for what you pay a value. The extra 2 inches in height is nice for composing or angling as well.

I own a number of products by Neewer and they never cease to amaze me by the quality they put out. This tripod leveling base is no exception.When you open the box and just look at the beautifully crafted and well machined metal you can see the attention to detail that was put into this design. The paint seems like a high quality anodized paint.The bowl itself adjust very smoothly in small fractions if you need it. The tolerances are nice and tight but yet smooth enough to adjust it exactly how you want it. Once you have the angle you're looking for, the tightening knob which is also very high quality tightens down your position.If you're just trying to get a level angle, it comes with a nice well-made bubble leveler as well.It has a 1/4" mount with a 3/8" adapter as well. Between the 1/4" mount and the rubber pad, that was secure enough for my setup. But it also comes with three allen set screws to really hold the base tightly in place.Now with this leveling base, I can adjust the angles without having to adjust the legs on the tripod.
