These are great and good value for money for what they are meant for. They aren't heavy duty but they are perfect for small lights, or holding reflector.

Great affordable stands from Neewer here, affordable and decent quality. I wouldn't expect them to hold seriously heavy lighting gear but for most users, very good.

I only needed one tripod but for only a few dollars more I was able to purchase 2. First time purchasing a Neewer product. The craftsmanship is very good, the finish is also very good, they have not skimped on materials nor the workmanship. This is perfect for any light duty tripod application, highly recommended.

Used these for the Oculus Rift CV1 sensors and they work great. Come with 1/4" threaded ends so the Oculus sensor just screws right on... no adapter needed. Very compact tripod legs so they don't take up much space when spread out. Using these I didn't have to mount anything to the walls or ceiling. Just set them up and go. You can also move them out of the way if your tight on space.

These light stand are cheap and they do the job. My lights aren't extremely heavy (YN600 led) but when I'm on location I use one of the stands to balance my glidecam with a Canon 80D on top and they hold it without any problem. Definitely gonna buy more of these in the future.

I actually purchased these for an unconventional use, holding and positioning my HTC Vive sensors. The Vive sensors are small, but quite heavy and they wobble constantly. I purchased these as a trial since they were cheap with the expectation that they would need to be replaced with more sturdy stands. Based on others' experience with similar tripods they had issues with balance and had damaged their expensive sensors.I've been using these off and on for a few months and am quite pleasantly surprised. I can't comment on their intended use as light stands, but these make wonderful stands for the HTC Vive sensors.

Not the sturdiest of light tripods but for the price you can't get any better then this. I use Sand bags to offset the fact that they are a bit flimsy and that works perfectly. I've even used one of these with a softbox outside in mild winds and with the sand bags there was no problem. I use these for my off camera speed lights. They are light and yet sturdy enough for my flashes. I like them because they are easy to open up and I don't have to struggle with them. They are great for holding lighter equipment.

Ok for using with camera hot shoe strobes off camera.

This light stand is perfect! I had a indoor market and needed extra lighting so I just purchased clip lights from home depot and this stand was perfect for the lights to clip onto. The adjustable height made it helpful for me to angle my light perfectly onto my display table.
