I'm going to be honest here, I think this case is an awesome piece of ARMOR for your phone that just happens to add a bunch of expandability. And I mean a bunch. I mentioned all the 1/4"-20 holes in the headline, but this also allows you to use all the Neewer 17mm lenses (there are, like, at least 8 different lenses!!!) as well as 67mm photographic filters.If you haven't yet taken a look at Neewer's store and seen the 17mm lenses they offer, I suggest taking a good look, because their offerings are numerous and of wonderful quality, especially for the price.I like it for the armor it provides. But to stop there and say that's the only reason I like it would be wholly disingenuous. Having access to Neewer's 17mm lens offerings is in and of itself reason enough to own this cage. If you shoot video on your iPhone, this may be THE accessory to get for that. Neewer products are just fantastic by and large, and this is no exception. 5 stars.

Everything about this Cage feels pro to me. The way it fits my iPhone 16 pro max is just perfect. Easy to put the phone in and take it out. Ultra secure. Survived a big drop without a scratch. Super flexible rig allows you to mount the handles either horizontally or vertically. Handles also rotate to give you the perfect grip for any shot. You can use one or two handles. It is very secure and has provided some great still shots and smooth video for me already. There is a Bluetooth control built into the right handle which makes it easy to take pics and vids without touching the screen. Very well designed product that feels good in my hands.There isn't any kind of anti-shake mechanism built in but I wasn't expecting that. This is simply a Video Rig kit with a solid all-metal cage and two comfortable handles that can be rotated to almost any position. The setup was easy and it's all very intuitive. They include a few allen wrenches to make any fine adjustments as needed. The mounts for filters and lenses snap on and off easily as well. I am going to pick up some filters and lenses soon to try out.I have been using this strictly for smooth video shots, pans, flying zooms, etc. For me it's worth it just the way I am using it and filters, lenses, etc will be a huge added bonus. I love the protection it provides and how easy it is to use. This valuable piece of equipment has found a permanent spot in my photog bag and will be traveling with me on multiple trips in the near future. Have already used this 4 or 5 times and seems like it is built to last, I expect to get a lot of use out of this. Will be looking to add lenses and filters soon.

I'll avoid describing the whole feature list and focus on a few that make it sing for me.The phone slides easily into the frame and is cushioned by a soft rubber layer. Part of the frame swings closed and latches securely with a tab. The fit is flawless.Around the frame are multiple 1/4" screw mount points. The frame can be mounted to a tripod or monopod, etc, in any of these locations. Or, attach peripherals such as a light, or SSD mount. or battery holder, etc, etc. Extremely versatile! Many options. I count 9 points with 1/4" threads.There is a cold shoe on the frame.The handles ....... they secure to the frame easily and are secured with the twist of a thumb screw. Solid! Use one or both. Both handles have a cold shoe on their top. I will use the BT shutter release button in one of the 2 cold shoes.The handles .... slick engineering. An allen wrench is housed within each handle. Easily accessible AND out of the way. It is there to adjust the handle up and down. Dang. Another indication of good engineering.Filter holders ...... 3 options, one of which is 67mm threads for any standard 67mm filter. And there are 2 other filter mount options that I haven't yet used.EVERYTHING fits smoothly. Fit and finish is excellent. All pieces work smoothly.What do I most appreciate? I'm a long time SLR and DSLR user and have found holding the flat phone as a camera a bit awkward. Not as steady as a DSLR. Do-able, but not optimal. Using one handle with the thumb release makes it much more steady! While not the same shape it accomplishes a very similar function. Using both handles improves my videos a GREAT deal. Soooooo much easier to be steady. And the rich options for mounting lights, SSD, battery. A fabulous solution.In case you can't tell .... I'm thoroughly satisfied and recommend highly! 6 ... no wait ... 7 stars!

This is a great phone cage. I have an earlier, similar model from SmallRig which works well, but whose fatal flaw is a tiny screw used to hold the lens mount in place. The problem with that is that it falls off at times, and if you lose that screw, you are sunk!Neewer corrects this while also including a nice T-Mount and 17mm mount in the kit. SmallRig just gives you an M-Mount typically.The mechanism for inserting your phone into the cage is much the same as all the others, and the fit is perfect. I do wish this came with the little cold shoe covers that the cages do on their own. The case provides a lot of protection given its sheer size.The handles are easy to use, and you just need to remember to activate them time to time to take your shots. I feel like these are slightly comfier than the SmallRig ones I’m used to.All in all, a marked improvement for iPhone 16 Pro Max users and on the overall design. This will make your photography and videography better.

I often hold my phone long periods and that is hard for me and causes my wrist and fingers to hurt. Being able to get leverage and position the handle in almost any position really helps with my hand pain.So many uses for this. Really seems well made and is very stable.
