NEEWER 2 Pack Camera Lens Cap Kit

Having had good experiences with the Neewer brand before, I decided to pick up this replacement lens cap set. One cap will replace a gritty one for the wet lens on an old underwater camera kit, and the other will sit as backup for a standard land lens. The caps are light, have a low profile build, and most importantly fit easily on the lenses. I’m not sure the complexity of using tiny tools to get straps onto the cap is necessary, though I suppose the small holes will deflect more debris and have a cleaner look if someone chooses not to use the safety. I like that they are blue, but they are fairly thick and bulky. I will definitely use one while transporting my underwater kit. On land I may opt out unless I am doing some serious hiking. Because my poor cameras are primarily for wildlife, caps with moving parts like this can get gritty over time from sand and seawater, but they do stay on better, and these feel very secure. One suggestion I have would be to create an appealing stylized logo if you are going to print it across the front. I’m not terribly picky about appearances but having NEEWER plastered brightly front and center on my camera is a bit obtrusive. I would love and seek out the brand accessories more if they artistic as well as functional. Overall a nice set. Appreciate the generous sized bonus lens cloths, too!
