Adjustable Pan/Tilt Fluid Drag- The professional fluid head is designed with two separate devices to control how much friction there is when panning or tilting the head. Use the side damping knob to adjust the fluid drag of tilt movement, or rotate the bottom ring to change the fluid drag in the pan axis, so as to allow smooth shots free of shake and vibration. Rotate them clockwise to increase the damping effect and rotate them counterclockwise to decrease
Quick and Easy Modes Switching- The fluid head has two QR modes, compatible with DJI RS2 RS3 RS3 PRO gimbal and 501PL quick-release plates respectively. Compared to the traditional slide-in structure, you can press the quick-release plate directly from the top of the fluid head and lock it in 1s, as well as quickly release the plate via the side release button, more efficient and convenient to switch between tripod and gimbal shooting

This tripod is very stable and very well made. Pans and tilts smoothly and quietly. It’s a little heavy so this makes it sturdier outside in the wind, but is more of a load to carry. However, it came with a beautiful carrying case.

A Great Tripod for heavier camera rigs, the dampened fluid head allows for very smooth pan and tilt movements as well as the quality metal components on the tripod. The tripod goes more than high enough, and it never feels as if it's going to tilt over or break under a camera's weight. The red accidents are a nice touch, and the ability to control the friction of every movement is also appreciated. Compared to more expensive professional heavy-duty tripod's, this definitely provides a lot of value for the money. Neewer always provides products of great performance and competitive pricing.

This video tripod is quite impressive, both in terms of its sheer size. The tripod gets over 6 foot tall so even if you need to be on the first row bleachers for instance you still have perfectly usable height. The tripod feet can be angled for optimal position against the ground. Overall the stability of the whole system is quite good and the flip locks work great with no sag with the gear I had on it. Naturally, the less you need to extend it, the better the stability and vibration control is.When it comes to the fluid head, it's great too, featuring dampening AND locking knobs for both tilt and pan. All of that sitting on top of a bowl base lets you adjust and level your tripod head as you see fit. It's also nice that the tripod head can be removable; I've seen some similar designed bowl base video tripods have the bowl integrated to the head, making it unsuited for fluid/ball head swap. The handling of the fluid head is thus quite good thankfully.Of course given the size this thing is pretty heavy too. This can be advantageous to weigh your whole system down a bit more too, but should be taken into account when considering it for purchase since it affects portability. But if the dimensions are looking like a good fit, this is one impressive piece of gear.

The tripod description is pretty complete and accurate already, I'll try to no repeat it and bring extra information. I'll be using this tripod mainly with a 17 in teleprompter or as a base for my telescope. For me, it looks a little overkill for my mirrorless camera alone, or my current camcorder, but will make perfect sens if I add a monitor eventually.Fluidity: The tripod is pretty fluid, I could see no irregularity or any issues. I made a test using my phone accelerometer and the result are plain curves, the only spikes are related to me touching the head. The pan fluidity adjustment range is just right for me. On the tilt adjustment, I would have like to be able to add a little more friction.QR operation: The QR plate has enough clearance to install and remove a larger device like the teleprompter without hitting the knob or other components.Legs: Smaller tubing from the upper sections are 14 mm while the tubing from the lower section is 18 mm. The clamp holds firmly, and they can be adjusted with a screw in the back if they get loose over time.Feet: I saw no evidences (key slots or holes) that the feet could be unscrewed and replaced by spikes or larger foot. It looks to be a built-in ball at the ends that fits into the rubber feet (the rubber can be removed and replaced).Level: Level bubble is OK, if I centre the bubble and pan 180 degrees, the bubble touch the level circle. This is precise enough for me. The bowl shape base does a good job for adjusting the level.Levers: Levers for pan lock and handle are spring-loaded, they can be pulled and relocated if you are in a tight spot.Overall, this is a great tripod for my usage
